The most important thing in my work for me is being able to help the patients in one way or another. Sometimes helping can mean the treatment that cures a heart disease, and sometimes it means relieving the symptoms to some degree.

As a specialty, cardiology is interesting, diverse and challenging, and I became interested in it already during my studies. I work as an intervetional cardiologist focusing especially on aortic valve operations; in addition to the operation itself, I am attracted to the precise multi-professional patient selection and the design of the procedure, combined with advanced imaging techniques.
