I have always had great interest in the human brain, brain structures and activities. However, when choosing the field in which you finally specialize in, also coincidence is often involved.

In my work, it is most important to be able to provide the patient with holistic care. So, basically everything – the whole process and the people involved: how the surgery goes, how the patient is treated, how the relatives experience the process... The patients we treat almost always have severe diseases, which means that paying attention to the patient in a holistic way is even more important.
