My interest in choosing my specialty was affected, of course, by my interest in musculoskeletal disorders and their rehabilitation. In addition, an especially significant incentive was the close utilization of the specialty in sports injuries and the care of top athletes that I have been treating for twenty years all the way up to the national team level (volleyball and ice hockey).

The most important aspect of my work is helping the patient – especially being able to improve the patient's functional ability even if the disease itself cannot always be cured. Of course, resolving a challenging, rare or otherwise interesting case is also professionally rewarding.
