The patient is the basis for everything. That is the point of this whole building – for us to focus on caring for our patients. Everything else on top of that is extra.

When I graduated from medical school, I had two options: either I would become a pediatrician or a surgeon. I have worked with both specialties and in the end I became a surgeon.
