For me the most important thing in patient care is providing the patient with the right kind of help, high-quality service and keeping patients satisfied. In nephrology, good patient care often extends the life expectancy and improves the quality of life.

I became interested in this specialty when I was working with nephrology’s dialysis patients. Doctors seem to often be inspired by a specialty after working with a particular patient group for an extended period of time.
