I think it is important to be able to challenge oneself at work. Diagnostic challenges are very inspiring for me and I enjoy demanding work that allows me to push myself and use all my skills. When I succeed in my work and manage to beat a difficult challenge, I feel I can really help the patient and have a big impact on his or her life. This is important to me.

As often in life, coincidence played a part in my career choice. I have been interested in internal diseases since the beginning and specializing in this field just sort of happened, as this specialty felt like a natural choice for me.
