In patient work, the most important thing for me is being able to help the patient in whatever problem he or she is currently having.

Surgery became my specialty because I was interested in operative fields. There was a bit of chance involved in me becoming a urologist: I wanted to develop robotic surgery in our hospital and I did further uro-oncological training because of my interest in cancer treatments.
