FinnHealth was established in 2014 as a result of an extensive and strategic service design project. Our aim was to bind together high-quality comprehensive health care services in one of Finland’s most modern hospitals , KUH, and truly customer-oriented health and medical tourism service.
Since the very beginning, we’ve been focusing on a high-quality customer experience and offering FinnHealth patients the best possible medical care.
FinnHealth was made possible by the former Chief Executive Medical Officer Jorma Penttinen (Kuopio University Hospital) and the project was led by FinnHealth Manager Helena Länsimies.
In 06/2014–07/2019 FinnHealth was funded by the Regional Council of Northern Savonia, the European Social Fund and the European Regional Development Fund.
